The Storms of Life
On March 26, 2006 our girls were dedicated/baptized at Calvary Church. The message at church focused on the storms of life everyone faces.
A video was made documenting our struggles with fertility. Not every ending is happy, nor does it necessarily turn out the way you would like, but we hope our story can pass along some hope and inspiration for you - that you too can make it through your own storms.
Since I often make the mistake of divulging too much personal information on this site, we’ve decided to not make this video available to the general public. However, we do feel that this might provide some encouragement to you, so if you have not received an invite to see the video and would like to, please contact me at rob [at] fay-family [dot] com.
WARNING: You may want a box of tissues with you.

I don’t have to see it to know it would make me cry. We, too, did the infertility thing, and though we had it much easier than many, it was difficult for us. I know how it feels to come through the other side and not take anything for granted. It’s been 11 months, and I still tear up when I hear them wake up in the morning. Because we have babies. In our house. And they are ours.
Your babies’ baptism sounds like a wonderful celebration and like it was made very personal for your family. Even though I don’t “know” you, I’m very happy for you.

Amy, that’s *exactly* how I still feel, every day, like I am living a happy dream, except that it’s REAL. What an incredible blessing to be Isabel’s and Emily’s mom! Happy Mother’s Day to you and to all
