This “family” blog might become more of a “daddy” blog, considering Laurel has yet to contribute to this site. As I approach fatherhood, I’ve looked for Internet sites that provide some advice and “lessons learned” to soon-to-be-fathers. I find that blogs tend to be the socially acceptable way for men to connect and discuss such things that they might not otherwise do in person (guess how many men – compared to women – attend “parent support groups”). Plus, blogging is fun.

Anyway, I came across a nice resource today on the MetroDad blog which hopefully will provide a sense of community among new fathers regarding their parenting ups and downs. I love the picture – MetroDad just needs to add one more baby to represent my upcoming adventure!
